Grid8 is BannerBros’ powerful self-service platform (SaaS) that helps brands create and manage digital advertising across channels. It gives teams the tools to build a branded creative library that works everywhere—social, display, video, and more.
Grid8 combines automation with full creative control, making large-scale production both fast and flexible.
Grid8 offers several key services. The most important one is DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization), but all services work together to support your creative workflow.
DCO: A content management system for dynamic creatives. Use it to edit templates, publish dynamic ads via feed, or export images and videos.
Brand library: Your central place for all brand assets, templates, and setups. As your campaigns grow, your Brand Library grows with them—allowing you to easily reuse, update, and scale your creative work over time.
Teams and projects: Organize your campaigns by teams and projects. Each team can contain multiple projects, helping you keep work structured, clear, and manageable.
DPA social: Automatically generate branded catalog images using your product feed. Perfect for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) catalog ads and similar use cases.
Smartcropper : An easy-to-use asset editor. Upload an image, set the focus point, crop it for all formats, and optimize file size—all in seconds.

To use most services in Grid8, you will need a brand library set up for your account.

Creating templates and DCO setups requires a certain level of expertise.
BannerBros can support you with building the initial library, developing templates, and helping you expand it over time as your campaigns grow.
Within each brand, you will find one or more Teams.
Each team can contain multiple Projects, allowing you to organize your campaigns in a structured and efficient way.
Teams and projects also determine user access roles, ensuring the right people have the right level of permissions.

(Dynamic Product Ads)
With DPA, you can connect your product feed to a template and automatically generate new images every hour. This ensures that your ads always display the most recent products or articles in a fully branded style.
DPA is ideal for:
Catalog advertising on Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
E-commerce updates
News or article promotions
Email marketing
Website content automation
In addition to publishing the feed, you can also bulk download all generated images for use in other channels.
For a full explanation of all features and setup instructions, please request the DPA Documentation.
SmartCropper allows you to quickly crop and optimize background images for all your templates, ensuring they look perfect across every format and size.
Optimize Position: The focus point of an image is not always centered. With one click, you can set the correct focus point so the subject is positioned correctly across all template sizes and aspect ratios.
Optimize Weight: Image file size matters—especially for HTML creatives that may load millions of times. SmartCropper helps reduce image weight, improving ad load speed and potentially lowering hosting or ad server costs.
Template Overlay Preview: You can display a template overlay directly on the image. This helps you place the focus point correctly so important visual elements are not hidden behind text, logos, or other design components.
For more detailed instructions, please request the DCO Documentation.

Grid8 offers flexible integration options that allow you to control how your dynamic creatives behave.
Within a DCO setup, you can create and manage your own dynamic feed, but you can also use additional signals to control the appearance and behavior of your templates.
Below are the most common integration options:
1. External Feeds
You can connect external data sources such as:
XML, JSON, or CSV feeds
Google Sheets
Channable
Custom product or article feeds
These sources can be used to display different products, articles, or variations inside your creative.
Which item appears at what moment is defined in the DCO setup.
2. Targeting Keys
Supported ad servers allow you to pass targeting keys to determine which creative variation should be shown.
This is useful for:
Audience targeting
Geo-targeting
Contextual targeting
Personalization
Faster trafficking (reduces the number of manual ad uploads)
Targeting keys significantly reduce the time spent on ad trafficking, since the ad server automatically selects the right variation.
3. Date & Time Logic
Your templates can dynamically change based on date and time. Examples include:
Showing or hiding a specific banner on certain dates
Displaying weekend vs. weekday messages
Launching a limited-time offer
Countdown to a deadline or event
Seasonal or holiday-based variations
This allows your creatives to automatically update without manual intervention.
Grid8 is structured into three main levels, which you will find in the left-side menu.
You can always use this navigation to quickly switch between Brands, Teams, and Projects.
The three levels are:
Brands
Teams
Projects
Brands
A Brand is the highest-level workspace in Grid8.
Within a brand, you can:
Manage access for all users
View all teams under that brand
Access the central location for all templates and DCO setups
Maintain your Brand Library
This is where all core creative resources for the brand are stored.
Teams
A Team sits inside a brand and contains multiple projects.
In a team, you can:
Control user access for all projects inside the team
Organize projects using a simple Kanban-style overview
Drag and drop projects between states
Project States
Project states are fully flexible and can be used according to your workflow.
There is no automatic system behind them, giving you full control.
Common use cases:
Draft
Work in progress, newly created projects, or setup testing.
In Progress
Projects that are active or ready to be used.
Completed
Finished or archived projects that are no longer relevant.
Projects
Inside each team, you can create different types of projects.
Creating a Project
Click “Create a project”.
A dropdown menu will appear with four project types:
Project Types:
Standard
A simple workspace for organizing and sharing assets.
VideoBuilder
Used for advanced dynamic video generation.
(Requires a Grid8/After Effects template.)
Social DPA
For DPA (Dynamic Product Ads) projects, linked to product feeds.
DCO
The main project type for Dynamic Creative Optimization workflows.
Asset Editor
Most project types include an Asset Editor (except Social DPA).
In a DCO project, the asset editor is located under the “Assets” tab.
At the top of the asset editor, you will find several options:
Files
Upload one or multiple assets at the same time.
Folder
Create a new folder or drag in a full folder from your desktop.
Link
Add a website link.
Optionally embed the link for live preview inside Grid8.
